County West Family Resource Center’s St. Patrick’s Day event held March 14 with the help of Baker High School’s Key Club. Several families came with their children, for free, to celebrate the event and enjoy refreshments. PEACE volunteers offered face painting, shamrock milkshakes, shamrock cookie decorating, artwork and more. “Our turn out was great and so much fun,” said Joanne Wynings of PEACE. The center is brainstorming some nice weather events including a car wash or lemonade stand for fundraising.
