— The West Genesee Anti-Bullying Task Force and High School English Department are teaming up to bring Jay Asher, New York Times best-selling author of “Thirteen Reasons Why,” to the school on Tuesday, March 20.

High School students can visit with Asher in the library throughout the day as he presents and discusses his craft as an author and the ever-present issue of bullying.

The community is invited to attend a public address with Asher at 7 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Tickets are available in the main office, the English department office or by emailing knewvine@westgenesee.org. “Thirteen Reasons Why” addresses mature themes of violence and suicide.
