CPF to help residents build a bluebird house

Cazenovia Preservation Foundation will kick off the 2012 Walk ‘N Talk Series from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 17, in the Community Room of the Cazenovia Public Library.

Those interested will learn all about the bluebird — New York State’s official bird. John Rogers, co-founder of the NYS Bluebird Society, will talk about a Bluebird’s life, habitat and nest box management.

Following the presentation, attendees will then be invited to stay and build their own bluebird box. Materials will be supplied.

There is a suggested $10 donation and pre-registration is required for box building. Call 877-1742 to register.
