— Kate Mangicaro, a senior a Baker High School, stands with her new 19-inch flat-screen television, which she won after giving blood at PEACE, Inc. in Baldwinsville. In conjunction with the American Red Cross, PEACE, Inc., held its first blood drive Friday, Feb. 10, at the County West Family Resource Center in Baldwinsville. “We are so pleased local families came out to support both organizations, and for such a great cause,” said family advocate Joanne Wynings. “We are in the works of scheduling our next drive in August, and hope to have several more participants.” Every participant who signed up to give blood was entered into the drawing to win the 19-inch flat-screen television.
