Cazenovia Hunt Real Estate Corporation recently announced the addition of Kim Olkowski to its team at the Cazenovia office.
Olkowski will be covering Madison and Onondaga Counties as a Licensed Real Estate Salesperson.
“After serving my country for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force and traveling around the world, my husband and I wanted to find the perfect place to settle down and raise our three sons,” Olkowski said. “We found a home in the Cazenovia community and have never been happier. I hope to help others find their dream homes and make their transition as smooth as possible.”
Olkowski was born and raised in Keene, N.H. She enlisted in the U.S. Air Force as a cryptologic linguist immediately following high school and spent six years living in Key West, Fla. After her first re-enlistment, Olkowski cross-trained into air traffic control and spent the majority of her career at McGuire Air Force Base in New Jersey, where she met her husband Michael Olkowski, a SMSgt in the USAF. Kim deployed to Oman in 2003 during Operation Enduring Freedom where she earned the Air Force Commendation Medal.
Olkowski attended college part-time everywhere she was stationed. In November 1999, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Thomas A. Edison State College in Trenton.
Right before retiring from the military in 2005, Olkowski gave birth to her third son and was a stay-at-home mom for two years. She then went to work for the Department of Defense at McGuire AFB as an air traffic controller tower watch supervisor for three years before moving to Cazenovia.
Olkowski and her husband, Michael, a communications engineer and independent contractor, reside in New Woodstock with their three sons. Jacob is currently in the Cazenovia Middle School and Jason and Jedrek are in fourth and first grade respectively at Burton Street Elementary School.
For the past year, Olkowski has volunteered for CazCares and The Key. She is also a dedicated volunteer at Burton Street Elementary School and a member of the American Legion Post 1572 in New Woodstock.
As part of Hunt Real Estate ERA, Olkowski will be able to better service her customers and will offer home buyers and sellers a variety of valuable products and services. She can be reached at 655-8300 ext. 219, firstname.lastname@example.org or through her website kimolkowski.com.
