continued Becky and Erica are excited about the many spin-offs coming out of MOAM. Among those “extras”, they point out that there will be a gleaning table for farmers to donate produce to the Marcellus Food Pantry and opportunities for community service for high school students. Small businesses with locally sourced materials and products will have the opportunity to promote and sell their wares. Residents will profit from a one to one contact with the producer of the items that they purchase. “It’s a movement to quality products, a more healthy environment and a boost to the local economy,” Muir said.
Vendors with locally sourced products are most welcomed to discuss participation by contacting the Town of Marcellus Parks and Recreation Department at 673-3269 ext. 2.
Becky and Erica welcome inquiries and comments. They can be reached by email at firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com, respectively.
