Quaker Steak hosts Redneck Games

— There is always something happening at the Quaker Steak & Lube in Van Buren and this Saturday is no exception. Beginning at 2 p.m. Aug. 4, the Lube will host the fourth annual Syracuse Redneck Games at the 3535 Walters Road location.

“We have some new events this year,” said Katie Rapp of Quaker Steak & Lube. “Rednecks will be competing in 10 different hilarious events with prizes being awarded for each event. The grand prize will go to therRedneck with the most spirit and the most wins throughout the day of competitions.”

Sponsoring the games this year are Genny Light and 95X. Practice times will start at 1 p.m. with the games beginning at 2 p.m.

The Git r’ Done Long Jump

Water Pong

Corn Hole Tournament

Seed Spitting

Red Neck Skeet Shoot

Best Mullet

Dumpster Diving

Bobbing for Pigs Feet

Beer Belly Wet T-Shirt

Slip n’ Slide Bowling
