Summer Reading Program continues at Caz Library

— The exciting activities for “Dream Big,” the theme for the 2012 New York State Summer Reading Program, continue on Wednesday, July 25 with “Planetarium.”

Are you a stargazer? What is happening in the night sky? Come find out in one of four family programs from the OCM BOCES Planetarium. Presentation times for the programs are 1, 2, 6, or 7 p.m. in the Burton Street Elementary School Auditorium.

Adults are welcome to share the experience with their children, but seating is limited. To guarantee a spot, those interested are encouraged to choose the time that is best for them and stop by the library for a free ticket. Drop-ins are also welcome if seating is available.

The Summer Reading Program will then continue with “Under the Big Top” at 10 a.m. July 31, “The Night Shift” at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and “Fireflies Under a Full Moon” at 8 p.m. on Aug. 30.

The Summer Reading Program is supported by the Friends of the Cazenovia Public Library and in part by Federal Library Services and Technology Act funds, awarded to the New York State Library by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services.

All events at the Cazenovia Public Library are free and open to the public. For more information, call the library at 655-9322 or visit cazenoviapubliclibrary.org.
