George Van Hook’s 16x20, oil on linen painting, “From Maple Road.” Art enthusiasts hoping to own a Van Hook original can purchase raffle tickets for $10 at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park or The Gallery of CNY in Cazenovia until July 30.
Cazenovia The exhibition “George Van Hook: An American Impressionist,” being featured in the John and Virginia Winner Memorial Art Gallery at Stone Quarry Hill Art Park is in its final weeks, and will close on July 29.
The display has drawn a large number of visitors to the art park since its opening on June 14. There is still time to visit the exhibition and purchase raffle tickets to win an original oil painting of a local landscape, valued at $1,900.
The art park gallery is open from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. Raffle tickets are $10 each and available to purchase in the art park gallery and offices, or at The Gallery of CNY at 58 Albany St. in Cazenovia.
The drawing for the raffle winner will take place on July 30, at which point the winner will be contacted to arrange pickup of the painting from Stone Quarry Hill Art Park.
