— In addition, Cyn Carnahan and the very thrilled Bel Lazarsky, both kindergarten students at Burton Street, are enjoying their new bikes that were donated by the Cazenovia Police Department.

Carnival organizers Vicki Grimes (PTA President/parent volunteer) and Amanda Denton (Burton Street teacher/parent) were thrilled with the turnout and hope to make this an annual event.

The Burton Street PTA made certain to thank the Rasmussen Rents Company out of Canastota, and the Douglas Family, for donating the generators needed to run the inflatables. The PTA is also grateful for the continued support of the administration, staff and faculty, and the more than 20 volunteers, including Cazenovia High School students who donated four hours of community service time to make this community event a success.

Amanda Denton is a teacher and event organizer for the Burton Street Elementary School End of the Year Carnival. She can be reached at adenton@caz.cnyric.org.
