Baker athletes selected All-Americans

— Four Baker High School students have been named as 2012 Brine National High School All-Americans.

Ronnie Bertrand, Scott Kirchner, Stephen Petrelli and John P. Walker, all members of the varsity lacrosse team at Baker, were selected to represent the Syracuse region in the 2012 Brine National Lacrosse Classic held in Boyds, Md. June 30 to July 3.

The Brine National Lacrosse Classic brings the top 400 high school underclassmen lacrosse players from across the country to one venue, where 16 regional teams will compete to become the 2012 National Champions and qualify to compete for an International Championship later in the year.

Ronnie, a current junior and varsity midfielder, is the son of Susan and Ron Bertrand; Scott, a current junior and varsity defenseman, is the son of Christine and Bob Kirchner; Stephen, a current sophomore and varsity attackman, is the son of Michele and Anthony Petrelli; and John, a current junior and varsity defenseman, is the son of Deb and John Walker.
