When the Cazenovia boys took its turn at SRC Arena for its version of the OHSL Liberty/Patriot meet two nights later, it tied for sixth place with 48 points. Tully, with 74 points, won a crowded race for the league title by 10 points over Westhill/Bishop Ludden.
Billy Bigsby and Dylan Muller both won events. Bigsby covered 3,200 meters in 10 minutes, 14.43 seconds, holding off Tully’s Evan Knapp (10:15.66) to prevail.
Meanwhile, Muller won a close battle with Marcellus’ Rob Coon in the pole vault, as Muller cleared 12 feet, just ahead of Coon, who was second with 11 feet 6 inches.
Muller also earned third place in the triple jump, going 38 feet 4 inches, and he teamed with Doyle Judge, Anthony Randino and Matt Donovan to finish second (1:37.89) to CBA (1:37.35) in the 4x200 relay.
Cameron Braathen threw the shot put 43 feet 5 inches, rising to second place. Ryker Smith took fourth (5 feet 2 inches) in the pole vault, with Doyle Judge sixth. Randino added a sixth (17 feet 8 inches) in the long jump and took seventh in the 300 sprint, while Donovan was sixth in the 55 sprint in 7.09 seconds.
