LETTERS: 2012 Winter Festival Talent Show looks for participants

— To the editor:

Can you sing, dance, act, play music, or do you have a special talent? Do you like performing in front of an audience and hearing the cheers of adoring fans? Are you hoping to be discovered and someday be a star?

If so, we need your participation in this year’s Winter Festival Talent Show from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 10.

To participate, all you have to do is complete a simple entry form and attend one day of dress rehearsal (date options: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 8 or 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 9) in the Cazenovia High School Auditorium.

You can pick up a talent show sign-up sheet in the offices at the Cazenovia high and middle schools. Bring your talents to share, or just come and watch the fine performers of our community!

Not only will you be able to enjoy the show, but the Festival Opening Ceremony and the crowning of our King and Queen for 2012 will take place.

There will be refreshments for sale and tickets are $5 at the door. All proceeds will benefit the Project CAFÉ’s Student Scholarship Fund.

We are looking for a wide variety of community members to participate this year, everyone is welcome!

Please contact Anna Schultz if you have questions or are interested. She can be reached at aschultz94@gmail.com or 481-8559. Thank you and we hope to see you there!
