Baldwinsville At 4:24 p.m. Dec. 13, police observed Zachary M. Scott, 17, of 7645 Van Buren Road, throw a glassine baggie on the driveway at 30 Elizabeth St. that contained marijuana. He was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, processed and released on his own recognizance to appear in court Jan. 4.
At 4:28 p.m. Dec. 18, police arrested Moona L. Shehadeh, 17, of 9419 Rover St., Phoenix, on a charge of unlawful possession of marijuana. The arrest was the result of a suspicious vehicle complaint in which Shehadeh was the front seat passenger of a vehicle parked in the Denio Street lot. After police spoke with the two occupants, Shehadeh was found to be in possession of a small amount of marihuana. She was arrested, processed and released on her own recognizance to appear in court Jan. 18.
At 1:55 a.m. Jan. 5, a vehicle was observed on Tappan Street with only one headlight. The vehicle was stopped and the driver was identified as Taryn Laffin, 18, of 1 Cedarwood Blvd., F-94, Baldwinsville. A strong odor of marijuana was noted by the officers as coming from the vehicle and marijuana was subsequently located and Laffin was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana. She was processed released to appear in court Jan. 25.
At 1:43 p.m. Jan. 5, school officials at Baker High School, along with the school resource officer were advised of students possibly smoking marijuana in the girls bathroom. Further investigation revealed that Kathryn Sinitsas, 16, of 1646 Kingdom Road, Baldwinsville was in the bathroom at the time of the incident and she was found to be in possession of a glassine smoking bowl and a plastic baggie containing a small amount of marijuana. She was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and was released to appear in court Jan. 25.
