Cazenovia The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall opens Thursday, Jan. 26 with a “Sabbatical Returns” exhibition that features work by Cazenovia College professors recently returned from sabbatical leave. The show includes the work of professor of studio art Corky Goss, professor of fashion design Karen Steen and professor of studio art Anita Welych.
A reception, which will include lectures by the professors, will be held from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the gallery. The exhibition is free and open to the public. It will run through Feb. 17.
The Cazenovia College Art Gallery in Reisman Hall, 6 Sullivan St., is on the corner of Sullivan and Seminary streets, one block north of Route 20, in Cazenovia. Hours during the academic year are: 1 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1 to 4 p.m. Fridays and 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sundays. Summer hours vary.

Professor Corky Goss has taught at Cazenovia College since 1986. He received his bachelor of fine arts degree at the University of Michigan and his master of fine arts degree from Syracuse University.
In addition to his work at Cazenovia College, he has received commissions for more than a dozen murals throughout the Central New York region, including several along the Route 690 corridor in Syracuse.
Professor Karen Steen is director of the Fashion Studies Program at Cazenovia College. She recently was a Fulbright Scholar, teaching and researching at the University of Mauritius, and traveling to more than 10 different countries. She has researched textiles and apparel in over thirty countries; she has presented lectures in Syria, Kenya, South Africa, Mauritius and the United States.
