Manlius, DeWitt, East Syracuse Police Reports ending 1/3

The East Syracuse police department, on N. Center Street, could be abolished by summer 2012. There are three options before the village for the police department: keep it, abolish it or enter into a shared contract with the town of DeWitt.

Manlius Police

— Dec. 21

Chester Hammon, 35, of Woodbox Road, Manlius, was charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and other traffic infractions.

Dec. 27

Luke Mitchell, 26, of Syracuse, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.

Dec. 28

Patricia Miller, 43, of Chittenango, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and traffic infractions.

Joseph Damarville, 35, of Syracuse, was charged with second-degree strangulation.

Stephen Peltz, 24, of Skaneateles, was charged with driving while intoxicated, speeding and refusal to take a breath test.

Dec. 31

Jamie Sugrue, 28, of East Manlius Street, East Syracuse, was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana, refusal to take a breath test and other traffic infractions after an accident. Sugrue’s car struck a utility pole, a fence and a garage on Kirkville Road.

Pete Shenendoah, 21, of the Onondaga Nation, was charged with criminal mischief and petit larceny.

Ellie McCormick, 22, of East Seneca Turnpike, Manlius, was charged with driving while intoxicated, unlawful possession of marijuana and other traffic infractions.

Cody Charette, 24, of Margo Lane, Fayetteville, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief.

East Syracuse Police

Dec. 18

Sharyl Hamilton, of Fyler Road, Kirkville, was charged with petit larceny.

Darryl Sheaks, 49, of Syracuse, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other traffic infractions.

Dec. 19

Michelle Keller, 21, of Fulton, was charged with petit larceny.

Dec. 20

Brittany Nighthawk, 25, of Syracuse, was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other traffic infractions.

Dec. 21

Justin Waddington, 23, of Syracuse, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other traffic infractions.

Rayna Trytek, 21, of Baldwinsville, was charged with driving while intoxicated and other traffic infractions.

Dec. 22

Eric Besig, 36, of Cicero, was charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and other traffic infractions.
