Grimes girls take first loss to Bishop Ludden

Roy iced the game, hitting a pair of free throws with 6.8 seconds left as she finished with 18 points, while Natalie Barletta contributed 13 points. Shattuck would lead both sides with 22 points.

Grimes is now off until Jan. 13 and a big home clash with Westhill, where Cobras assistant coach Carlee Cassidy was a five-year varsity standout. Meanwhile, Ludden meets Skaneateles (coached by one-time Gaelic Knights mentor Jill Blasi) on Tuesday night.
