St. Mary's Academy in Baldwinsville focuses on service to the community. Each month the children participate in a service project to help those in need or brighten someone's day. This year, the kindergarten class of Mrs. Cathy Schotthoefer and the third grade class of Ms. Liz Aiello decided to make Valentine cards to send to the VA Hospital in Syracuse. The cards, in the shape of a heart-flag, thanked the veterans for all they have done to protect our freedom. Other classes made cards for the Syracuse Home and the homebound of St. Mary's Church.
