LETTERS: Accidents highlight dangers of poor driving on Pompey Center Road

It all comes down to personal responsibility. It’s a factor we can’t teach at Driver’s Ed or test for at the DMV. Everyone who gets behind the wheel of a car should remember they are responsible for the actions they take while driving that vehicle. Parents need to look at their driving habits because they are their child’s most influential teacher. If you talk on the phone while you drive, you are telling your kids it’s ok to do so. It sounds old fashioned, but its true: be a role model, be accountable for your actions.

Pompey Center Road, don’t change a thing. You are a beautiful stretch of road.
