SYRACUSE With one more chance to tune up before the Feb. 17 Section III Class AA championships, the Baldwinsville indoor track and field teams returned to SRC Arena Tuesday night for an appearance at the annual sectional Select Meet.

Emily Soeder tied for the best clearance in the high jump, as she and Phoenix’s Marissa Turner both topped 5 feet 2 inches, but Turner had fewer misses, to Soeder settled for second place.
Carnovale earned third in the 300-meter dash in 42.96 seconds. Stephanie Vasteno earned fourth in the 55-meter hurdles in 9.81 seconds and contributed a sixth (7.73 seconds) in the 55-meter dash.
Also, Carnovale, Allen, Tomasello and Julia Nagy were fifth (1:53.76) in the 4x200 relay as Mackenzie Ross, Kelley Hull, Emily Thompson and Chandra Hewitt had a seventh-place time of 10:30.37 in the 4x800.
