Two from Skaneateles earn spots on SUNY Potsdam president's list

Justin McNally and Amelia O’Hara, both of Skaneateles, have been named to the SUNY Potsdam president’s list for the fall 2011 semester. McNally is a biochemistry major and O’Hara is a music education major.

Botsford earns degree from SUNY Potsdam

Hannah Botsford of Skaneateles, recently received a master of science degree in childhood education, after graduating from the college in December 2011.

Main named to dean's list at Saint Michael's College

Sarah Main, daughter of Kathleen and Robert Main of Skaneateles, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at Saint Michael's College. Main is a junior environmental studies major at the liberal arts, residential Catholic college located in Burlington, Vt.

Erin Callahan makes dean's list at Tufts University

Erin Callahan, of Skaneateles, a member of the class of 2015, was named to Tufts University's dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester. Dean’s list honors at Tufts University require a semester grade point average of 3.4 or greater.

Beck-Andersen named to Champlain College dean's list

Kaj Beck-Andersen, of Skaneateles, has been named to the fall 2011 Champlain College’s dean’s list for academic achievements and achieving a semester grad point average of 3.5 or more. Beck-Andersen is majoring in accounting.

John Turose named to Brockport dean’s list

John Turose, of Auburn, a 2009 graduate of Skaneateles High School, has been named to the dean’s list for the fall 2011 semester at SUNY Brockport. Turose is in his junior year.

Chase Turose a presidential scholar at Clarkson University

Chase Turose, of Auburn, a 2011 graduate of Skaneateles High School, has achieved the rank of Presidential Scholar for the fall 2011 semester at Clarkson University. A student must have a GPA of 3.8 to 4.0 to be named a presidential scholar. Turose is currently a freshman.
