Lysander Parks and Recreation - Snow tubing tonight

— Join the fun from 4:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27, at Four Seasons Ski Center (8012 East Genesee St., Fayetteville) for a night of snow tubing. The center supplies the tube and pulls participants up the hill, you supply the laughter as soon as you zoom down the hill. This event is fun for all ages and separate slopes and lifts keep participants safe from skiers. Registration required; inquire at townoflysander.org for fee.

Karate after school program

The goal of this program is to teach self defense, boxing, kickboxing and fitness while incorporating messages in regards to respect, discipline, confidence and goal setting. At the end of the program, students will participate in a graduation ceremony at our Karate School (Impact Martial Arts, 80 Smokey Hollow Road) where the students will earn their white belts. Students are encouraged to join at the dojo once a week to reinforce new skills. This program for children in kindergarten through fifth grades will be held from 3:20 to 4 p.m. Tuesdays (Jan. 8 to Feb. 12) at the gymnasium at Elden Elementary. Registration required; inquire for fee.

Baldwinsville youth wrestling

This youth wrestling program is an excellent way to learn some of the right moves and holds that once made Baldwinsville a power house in the sport. Held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays (Jan. 8 to Feb. 7) at Baker High School’s wrestling room, this is a contact program, held in a safe and fun environment. Please note that this is also a co-ed program and girls may have to wrestle boys. For youth in third through sixth grades; registration required; inquire for fee.

Swim lesson

This 10-week swim lesson program for children 5 years and older (must be at least 44” tall) will be held from Jan. 5 to March 23 at the Baker High School pool. Pre-testing will be held Jan. 5 to make sure youth are in the right level. Registration required; inquire for fees, lesson times and groups.
