— Joan McKissick, of Manlius, recently won a 50-inch LG Plasma Television in the annual Cazenovia Lions Club’s TV Raffle.

The winning ticket was sold by Pam Kent, a local lions club member. Businesses and individuals that provided selling locations include Buyea’s True Value, Dave’s Diner, Kinney Drugs, Paul Amidon and all Cazenovia Lions Club members.

In addition, Buyea’s True Value donated a portion of the cost of the television for the raffle.

The proceeds from the raffle support the Lions Club Scholarships for graduating Cazenovia High School seniors, Lions Sight Conservation projects in the community and the annual Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt.

Local lions club officials said they are grateful for the generous support from the community and local merchants.
