LETTERS: Pedestrians have right-of-way at crosswalks

To the editor:

Even though New York State law gives pedestrians the right-of-way, some drivers forget to yield at the various crosswalks throughout our village.

This problem is particularly troublesome at the intersection of Hurd Street and Albany Street and at the Lincklaen Street crosswalk near the post office. It is our hope that drivers will become more aware of crosswalk etiquette (and crosswalk law).

It will make Cazenovia a safer community for all.
