LETTERS: Caz High School PTSA thanks community supporters

To the editor:

The Cazenovia High School Parent Teacher Student Association would like to extend a big “thank you” to all of those who helped make our Annual Technology Raffle a big success.

We would especially like to thank Buyea’s True Value and Mulligan’s for allowing us to set up a table to sell our tickets. Their support went a long way towards meeting our goal.

The PTSA pulled three prizes during the drawing on Thursday, Dec. 6. With only 213 tickets sold, odds were better than normal to win a prize.

The winners were: Dick Flannigan (his choice of a Nook Color HD or Kindle Fire HD); Robin Wahl (iPhone 4S Gift Card for any carrier); and Brianne Tugaw (iPad2).

Some readers may recognize her name from last year’s list of winners. She won the iPad prize last year as well. Tugaw suggested a new marketing campaign for next year, “Buy it With Bri” hoping to spread some of her good luck to others.

The PTSA raffle supports our yearly scholarship fund, mini teacher grants and other special projects. Watch for our spring raffle that is planned to include five popular prizes with a maximum of 400 tickets to sell.

Thank you, and good luck.
