Last Thursday Book Club

The group continues its exploration of history and the classics with this month’s discussion of “A Christmas Carol,” by Charles Dickens at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 27.

Doctor Who Christmas Fête

Join us from 1 to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 28, for a celebration of our favorite ancient alien with Doctor Who Christmas specials, Whovian treats, (Chocolate Dalek?) and Who trivia. Costumes are optional but why pass up the chance to show up as your favorite, Doctor, Companion or Alien?

Make a basket family

Home with the kids for the holidays? Make an investment in family togetherness and your reward in baskets. Join Sandee of Cherished Baskets and Treasures from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 29, for a family basket making session. Have the kid make a small basket for a $10 materials charge or collaborate on a larger basket for $15 best of all make both and start your own collection of nesting baskets.
