Pulling Threads will meet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 19 to work on personal projects in a friendly atmosphere.

Second Mondays Club

Let the kids (third through sixth graders) catch up with their friends while you run errands or take a holiday breather at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10. Each month features new activities, but there is always free pizza, fun and games for the participants.

Open Writers’ Group

Local writers support each other and share their progress on alternate Tuesdays. Because of Christmas observances, there will be only one session this month at 7 p.m. Dec. 11.

Decorate your family tree

Genealogist Louise Creighton presents a program on how to find your female ancestors at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 12. Register online or call 635-5631.

Mystery Readers’ Club

Deborah Knott and her new husband tackle several mysterious deaths while preparing for the family holiday celebrations. The group will meet to discuss “Christmas Mourning” by Margaret Maron at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13.

Crafty cards

Join Missy Shipman at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, as she helps you put a personal stamp on the season. Register online or call 635-5631; bring $15 materials fee.

Tech help drop-in

Master your iPad, iPhone, ereader etc. with a little help from your friends here at the library. Every Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., librarians will help you with your laptop, mobile device, ereader or tablet. No registration needed.

Gingerbread dreams?

Here’s a chance to make your very own gingerbread dream house at this program for kids in third through sixth grades (with an adult) from 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 14. We will provide the basics (gingerbread and frosting glue) but bring a bag of assorted candy to decorate your house to our personal taste. Register online or call 635-5631.
