The boys went door-to-door and collected food items and monetary donations. They also collected bottles and cans and donated the proceeds to the food pantry. The team was very happy to fulfill this community need as well as learn how to help others in their community. The FUMC men's club served the boys breakfast beforehand. Some of the returning players spoke to the men's club about what the Baldwinsville team meant to them and what they were about, part of which was making a difference in helping in the community. Be sure to get out and support the Baldwinsville Varsity Hockey Team at their upcoming games including: Teacher Appreciation Night Dec. 4, Military Appreciation Night Dec. 18 and Hockey Mite Night Jan. 4, 2013.
