Cazenovia The local 4-H group, the Lincklaen Shamrocks, located in Cazenovia, completed a number of activities last month.
The group has done Halloween projects, such as ghost and pumpkin hanging decorations made with Styrofoam and a light transparent fabric called “tulle.” Another seasonal project members have done is create a painted candle holder made from a canning jar and acrylic paints. The 4-Hers also took part in some community service by donating money for hunger and walking in the recent CROP walk.
The local group’s presidents are Mackenzie Greg and Megan Kuhns, and the vice presidents are Ashley Kent and Morgan Greg. The Lincklaen Shamrocks’ treasurers and secretaries are Emerson Brothers, Will Grotez, Lara Bruno and Sean Smithers, and the official photographers are Claire Murray and Ethan Baker. Leaders are Sue Groetz, Marlene Hogan and Chrissy Baker.
Representatives form the Lincklaen Shamrocks 4-H group said they are looking forward to completing many more interesting projects, and doing much more community service.
