Library to host workshop on Alzheimer’s Disease

— An educational workshop on “Legal and Financial Planning for Alzheimer’s Disease” will be presented at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5 in the Cazenovia Public Library Community Room by the Central New York Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

For those who are interested but unable to attend, the workshop will be presented again at 6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 10.

For residents whose friends, family members or themselves are affected by Alzheimer’s disease or dementia, the time for legal and financial planning is now. This workshop is for anyone who would like to know more about what legal and financial issues to consider and how to put plans in place.

Registration is required, and can be completed by calling the Alzheimer’s Association at 472-4201 ext. 125.

Free transportation through CRIS-CAT is provided for Cazenovia, Fenner and Nelson residents over 55 and ambulatory. Call 655-0612 between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. three to five days in advance.
