Baldwinsville At 11:43 p.m. Aug. 8, police responded to 211 Meadow St., Baldwinsville, regarding a domestic dispute. Upon arrival, police determined that Hollie M. Sims, 26, of that address had been involved in a dispute with another female and had punched her and had also choked the victim so she could not breathe. Sims was arrested and charged with second-degree criminal obstruction of breathing/circulation and harassment. She was processed and arraigned before Judge Huling who released her into the pre-trial release program, to appear in court on Aug. 22. She was then turned over to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office, as they had an active warrant for her arrest.
Man faces larceny charge
At 9:45 p.m. Aug. 4, police arrested Joshua W. Reeves, 22, of 7656 Seneca Beach Drive, Baldwinsville, and charged him with petit larceny. Police determined that Reeves had stolen items from an unlocked vehicle on Oneida Street. He was processed and released on his own recognizance to appear in court on Aug. 22.
Possession of stolen property charged
At 6:20 p.m. July 27, police arrested Matthew O. Bader, transient, and charged him with fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property. It is alleged that Bader was in possession of more than $3,000 of stolen jewelry, which had been reported stolen during a burglary in a village residence. Bader was arraigned and held on no bail pending his further appearance in court on this charge.
Two charged with harassment
On July 26, police served criminal summons’ to Oshea Lejja, 18, of 32 Ford St., Baldwinsville, and Calvin Jones, 16, of 32 Grove St., Baldwinsville, charging both with second-degree harassment. It is alleged that on June 26, while on Lock Street, both subjects punched and kicked the victim in this incident. Both subjects were scheduled to appear in court on Aug. 8.
