LETTERS: Another successful Cazenovia Counterpoint concludes

To the editor:

The Cazenovia Counterpoint committee wishes to thank all those who participated in the 2012 festival, truly a community effort in an historic gem of a village.

The festival is an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the cultural future by presenting new works and providing mentoring as well as performance opportunities for young performers and composers.

Our mission is to showcase regional artists, writers, composers and performers, alongside visiting guest artists who have Central New York connections and are stars in their field. The Cazenovia Counterpoint committee donates their time to organize this festival, which they consider their gift to the community.

We are grateful to our collaborators, Imagine Syracuse, Creative Arts Academy and The Ballet & Dance Center of Syracuse. Special thanks also to graphic designer Paul Grillo, a Syracuse native who now lives in NYC, for his design of the poster and program cover.
