continued On the district level, Flinn-Brown is on the Rotary Youth Leadership Award committee, helping out with a weekend-long leadership training for high school sophmores and juniors from throughout CNY.
“I can work on the committees or projects that I am most interested in and I get to use my professional skills to help my club,” Flinn-Brown said. “Service is easy when you are doing things that come natural to you and that you truly enjoy.”
As for the recognition she said, “Rotarians don’t commit themselves to volunteer service so people will dote on them, so I can’t help but feel extremelty flattered my club chose me for this award. There are many, many people in my club, my district and even my family that do so much for Rotary and their communities that deserve a round of applause too!”
