The first annual “Wheels for Westcott” benefit ride and rally kicks off Saturday, Aug. 4, at the Westcott Community Center. Anyone with a motorcycle moped or scooter is invited to ride.
Starting at 10 a.m., Recess Coffee, located at 110 Harvard Place, Syracuse, will be on hand selling caffeinated drinks and bakery items. A meet and greet will follow.
At high noon, the ride begins. There will be two rides to choose from: a 30 mph ride and a 55 mph ride. After the ride, meet back at the Westcott to be treated to great music, food and fun.
Visit wccevents.org for information on how to register, volunteer or donate.
The cost is $20 per rider with a suggested fundraising goal of $30. Pledge sheets can be found online or at the Westcott Community Center.
All proceeds will directly benefit the WCC and the variety of programming it offers. All donations are tax-deductible.
