C-NS girls lax beats RFA, Westhill

Boys Northstars split, takes loss to Baldwinsville

Yet everything that went right here would go wrong on Thursday, when the Northstars went to Baldwinsville and struggled through a 15-4 loss to the Bees.

Unable to do much in the first half, C-NS fell behind, 7-1, and even as its attack woke up in the third quarter, it could not get much closer.

Zach Waldron scored twice, with Kennedy and Dylan Collins getting the other goals. B’ville pulled away, though, as Luke Evans, with eight goals, outscored C-NS by himself.

Halfway through its regular season with a 5-3 mark, it would be C-NS’s turn to face West Genesee on Tuesday before games against Oswego and Colonie later this week.

The girls Northstars would meet Baldwinsville Monday before playing Central Square and Nichols, a visitor from the Buffalo area.
