— The Rotary Youth Exchange program enables high school age students from around the world to spend a school year in another country learning the language and customs of another culture. The students gain life-long friends and an experience they never forget, all while promoting understanding about their own culture. Whether you are the exchange student, the hosting family, or a friend or fellow student, everyone learns from and enjoys the experience.

“It promotes peace and understanding between the different cultures, said Richard Robb, the club’s Youth Exchange Officer. “These young adults are some of the best ambassadors we have because they are so eager to learn about different countries and to teach about their own.”

To learn more about the Rotary Youth Exchange program or how to become either an exchange student or host family, visit the DeWitt Rotary website at dewittrotary.org, call Richard Robb at 952-7600, or call Mike Rigney at 317-3814.
