Baldwinsville The Baldwinsville Kiwanis Club will hold an open house from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, April 18, at the Mohegan Manor in Baldwinsville.
This casual affair will allow residents in Baldwinsville to get to know the organization whose main focus and mission is helping the children in the community. It will also be an opportunity to find out exactly who the Kiwanis are, what the club does, why they do it and most importantly who their efforts benefit.
“You'll get a chance to kick the tires and meet the members who are making a difference in the lives of many,” said Mike Samoraj, president of the Baldwinsville Kiwanis. He wittingly added, “Please don't kick the members.”
The open house will allow the community to learn about the Kiwanis’ current fund raising activities and future plans that might inspire more of the quality people in Baldwinsville to get involved with the Kiwanis team.
“The more we do, the more we can help those children truly in need,” Samoraj said. “Everyone is busy these days, but if you can afford an hour of your time, the knowledge gained will be worth the time spent.”
The Baldwinsville Kiwanis supports: B’ville Booster lacrosse, baseball and basketball; Golisano Children’s Hospital; Kamp Kiwanis; Make-A-Wish; Ronald McDonald House; scholarship; school reading programs, and more. Visit baldwinsvillekiwanis.com for more information.
