Caz students partake in countywide music festival

The Cazenovia Central School District students who participated in the Madison County Spring All-County Music Festival gather for a photo. The event was held March 23 and 24 at Camden High School. More than 40 students from Cazenovia attended the annual festival.

Several music students from the Cazenovia Central School District participated in the Madison County Spring All-County Music Festival on Friday and Saturday, March 23 and 24 at Camden High School.

More than 40 students, who ranged from grades 5 to 12, were selected by audition, then rehearsed and performed with other select music students from throughout Madison County.

The festival culminated in a concert on March 24.

Ensembles performing at the festival were the sixth grade band, seventh and eighth grade chorus, ninth-through-12th grade orchestra and the ninth-through-12th grade chorus. Students who participated in the festival are as follows:

High School Orchestra

Hunter Burnett, Claire Chanatry, Jeanette Cudney, Sarah Rose Gabor, Alaina Kelahan, Glenna Kelahan, Rebecca Marsch, Willa Mihalyi-Koch, Rebecca Pfohl, Delanie Spangler, Meredith Shepard, Kiersten Skinner, Emmajean Speer, Rae Tobey and Grace Wheeler.

High School Chorus

Connor Carroll, Sydney Dennison, Alex Downey, David Kempf, Katie Kempf, Sean Maliga, Crystal McGrath-Scott, Rusty Paddock, Amber Robinson and Marie Sugio.

Seventh and Eighth Grade Chorus

Helen Barna, Molly Carges, Caeli Carroll, Sophia Carroll, Faith Gara, McKenzie Greg, Katelyn Hale, Lillie Hunt, Caroline Hudson, Alli Karmis, Janie Kempf, Tim Kempton, Emily Kielbasinski and Emily Mahoney.

Fifth and Sixth Grade Band

Tim Burr, Will Huftalen, Lydia LaGorga, Lucy Langan, Mackenzie Odell, Anna Sasser, Emma Wardell and Andrew Wight.
