— Would you like to be a part of the troupe of actors that put on Dickens Christmas in Skaneateles? This is the 18th year Dickens Christmas will be presented in Skaneateles! Come be a part of the excitement.

Can you act or sing? It’s great fun, and a wonderful experience for aspiring actors, young and old! There will be paid positions as well as apprentice roles open. Those actors who worked last season’s festival will not be required to re-audition. There will be a limited number of youth actors accepted into the “Dickens Players.”

The auditions will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 12, at the First Presbyterian Church, (in the sanctuary) 97 E. Genesee St. in Skaneateles. Paid actor candidates should be prepared with a head shot and resume and a one minute comic monologue. Everyone will be asked to sing 16 bars of your favorite Christmas carol.

Please call Jim Greene, Dickens’ director, at 607-844-8501 or 607-423-1477 if you have any questions. Or you may e-mail Jim at jimgreene@ScarlettRat.com
