— Time seems to run faster when the school doors open. Nevertheless, it’s a great time to take a breather, drop in for a book or film and enjoy our glorious art display from the Candlelight Quilt Guild.

Pulling Threads

Pulling threads meets from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 21 to work on personal projects in a congenial group.

Windows 7 Basics +

Learn the basic features of Windows 7 to improve your computer experience at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. Then return at 1:30 p.m. Sept. 28 as we get beyond the Basics with Windows 7 part two. Registration is required.

Harvest Mike

The harvest moon has been and gone, but we still have a harvest of fun on the agenda at our long running family friendly entertainment program at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. The music is lively, the crowd is friendly and the refreshments are always tasty. Performers sign begins at 6:30 p.m.

Making memories

Missy Shipman teaches technique at our popular scrapbooking group at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 22. Registration is required and there is a $20 fee for materials you get to keep.

Join us for the advanced computer class at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, to discover the wealth of materials available for downloading on your ereader, mp3, player, laptop, or pc. Registration is required.

Scary or sweet?

Join Sandee of Cherished Baskets and Treasures at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, to craft your choice of holiday baskets: scarecrow, angel or Santa. Registration is required and there is a $15 materials fee.

Fall storytime sessions begin

Fall storytimes begin Monday, Sept. 26. Make sure you have your registration in order.

Mental Illness support group

Those living with mental illness in themselves or family members gather to support each other and exchange survival tips once a week at 5 p.m. Tuesdays in the Story Room.

In Stitches

Join In Stitches at 7 p.m. Sept. 28 to chat and sew on personal projects.
