Manlius Recently, I resigned from my position as the executive director of the Manlius Historical Society to find full-time employment. Sadly, there are many that I have not had the pleasure to personally thank. I would like to thank the members and volunteers of the Manlius Historical Society for their dedication to this very worthy organization. My sincerest appreciation is to the citizens of the town and village of Manlius for their financial support and participation in many of my programs and events.
The Manlius Historical Society is made up of a board of 25 trustees. This board is made up of educators, councilmen, financial planners, therapists, and business owners — all are individuals who enrich the Manlius area. I thank the board for their unwavering support and belief in my success as an executive director. Who I have become as a professional is a direct reflection of these well respected citizens.
My only regret is that I will not be present to see the success of the 35th Annual Fine Arts and Crafts Festival on Oct. 22 and 23 and Santa's Workshop and Holiday Celebration on Dec. 3. Please support these two wonderful events!
