— Recently, suggestions to install parking meters or pay stations have been presented, to mixed reviews.

Jack Rooney of the Economic Development Committee told of his hopes to develop a marketing approach that gets the community as a whole, behind a parking initiative. The EDC plans to conduct a survey among community members and commuters as to how they would react to possible changes.

As all ideas regarding future changes to parking on Albany Street are still in the formative stages, the village board will look to hold public hearings in the coming months.
