B’ville: Thank you for 9-11 tribute

— First of all, I would like to say a very sincere salute to Mr. Erick Sell of Fingerlakes Landscape & Design, LLC for their efforts and the bumpy road they have encountered while being the primary contractor for Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Company's 9-11 Memorial on Baldwinsville Fire Company's Station No. 2 on State Fair Boulevard in the town of Van Buren. From the meetings to get this project underway, the design of the memorial working with NuCor Steel's Engineer and Baldwinsville Fire Company's committee chairman, committee, all the ups and downs that Mr. Sell and his crew have worked through from ground breaking to ups and downs where provided materials are concerned, Fingerlakes Landscaping & Design Company, LLC should be given much more than a very hearty thank you. That just doesn't seem enough. It is my considered opinion that when the memorial is finally complete, and the dedication is finalized, that everything that Mr. Sell, his partner and crew have gone through will have been well worth everything. To see this memorial alive to those that gave their lives (first responders, firefighters, NYPD officers and others), Mr. Sell will be well recognized for his and his crew's efforts. Skaneateles should be very proud of this company and the work they do.

Thank you just isn't enough Mr. Sell and crew.

I have been privileged to have been able to document the progress for Baldwinsville Volunteer Fire Company Committee Chairman Lt. Jeffrey Holbrook in pictorial format for display later on to show the progress towards conclusion.

Gary Williams is a resident of Baldwinsville.
