Fall flower show

The Men’s Garden Club of Syracuse invites you to view their Fall Flower show in the library’s community room from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 and 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 11.

School is back in session and the library will resume our 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday schedule beginning Sunday, Sept. 11.

Storytime registration begins Sept. 12

Get set for another season of stories and fun for our youngest library users by registering your child for storytime. On the first day, all registrations must be made in person. If there is still room in a session after the initial signup, phone registrations will be accepted at 635-5631. Don’t miss this chance to encourage your child’s love of reading. For a full schedule of available dates and times, stop in at the children’s desk or check our website at bville.lib.ny.us.

Second Monday Club

Kids in third through sixth grades are invited to join us Monday, Sept. 12 and on the second Monday each month for pizza, fun, games and activities.

Genealogy class

Genealogist Louise Creighton shares online sources and techniques for tracking down your ancestors at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14. Registration required.

BPL Friends presentAre your dusty canning jars worth more than you imagine? Find out for yourself at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 15 as the Friends of the Library host local collector Bob LaBelle for a talk on the topic. The program will follow a brief business meeting. There is a $1 suggested donation for the program and you can become a member of the Friends for $5 for the year.
