Baldwinsville’s girls gymnastics team put together a second-place finish in the large-school division during Thursday’s Section III championships.
Overall, the Bees had 151.30 points, behind only Jamesville-DeWitt/F-M, who had 166.90 points for the top spot. Gymnasts were divided into three levels, based on season-long results.
Emma Manning competed with the Level 1 gymnasts and was fourth on the balance beam with a score of 9.35. She also was fifth on the vault with an 8.6 and fifth on uneven bars with an 8.5 routine.
Ginger Kamide was part of the Level 2 competition and earned 31.00 all-around points, tying for third on floor exercise with 8.55, adding an 8.15 on the vault and 8.1 on the floor.
In that same division, Lauren Fisher had a 7.9 on the beam, while Samantha Cammso, in Level 3, scored 7.6 on the beam for third place and Casey Devlin, with a 7.5, was fifth. Jordan Lidel earned 8.05 for her floor routine.
