Syracuse teen charged in Kirkville handgun theft

— Manlius police have charged a Syracuse teen in connection to burglaries where two handguns were taken from two Kirkville homes.

Kyle L. Baker, 16, of Syracuse, was charged Wednesday, Oct. 26, with numerous felonies related to the burglaries that took place Oct. 7 and 26.

Two handguns and numerous home items were recovered by Manlius investigators. 
Baker is charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, third degree criminal mischief, fourth degree criminal mischief, fourth degree grand larceny, fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, fourth degree criminal possession of a weapon and petit larceny.

Baker was arraigned in Manlius Town Court and remanded to the Justice Center in lieu of $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond. He is set to return to court Oct. 31.
