— A level three sex offender has been charged with loitering in the town of Manlius near an elementary school.

Terry Jandrew, 55, of Syracuse, is accused of loitering in the driveway of an abandoned home adjacent to Woodland Elementary School on Fremont Road. He was charged with the violation by Manlius Police on Oct. 25.

Police say Jandrew was observed at the home on Sept. 1 and Sept. 29, without a purpose to be at the home, which runs near the East Syracuse-Minoa Elementary School. Jandrew was charged and subsequently convicted in 1995 with sexual abuse of a 6-year-old boy.
