Five letters in support of Kathy Dell for town justice

Letters to the editor

To the editor:

I have known Kathy Dell since 1992, when she began working for the Town of Skaneateles Justice Court. In July of 2007 she was appointed to fill the position vacated by Judge James Mathews and then subsequently elected to that position in November of that year.

Kathy has always held a high level of confidentiality and integrity both personally and professionally, but especially in the Court. She has worked very hard to dispense justice fairly and impartially, holding fast to the belief that the justice court should be characterized by high standards of integrity. Kathy has earned the respect and admiration for her devotion to the law, her work ethic and her commitment to justice.

On Nov. 8 please cast your vote for Judge Kathleen Dell.

To the editor:

I am writing to encourage my fellow voters to vote for Judge Kathy Dell on Election Day.

Judge Dell has served our community with honesty, dignity and fairness during her term. She serves the people. We need to retain an impartial lay judge, along with our attorney judge, to be able to hear all cases brought before them. This will maintain our unbiased judicial court system.

To the editor:

The 2011 Election for Skaneateles town officials is around the corner. Your Judge Kathy Dell is up for re-election.

I served proudly as town justice in the Town of Skaneateles between 1991 and 2007. During my tenure as Judge I was fortunate to have Kathy Dell employed as my Chief Court Clerk. Kathy displayed a tremendous aptitude for her position displaying organizational skills and legal knowledge from prior employment in the local legal community. Kathy exercised her legal knowledge in assisting me daily with research in criminal/civil cases which was a wonderful attribute to Kathy’s job as Court Clerk.
