Baldwinsville How many can say they burn more calories than they consume on Thanksgiving Day?
While the answer probably amounts to few, those who participate in the annual Kiwanis Turkey Day Race may qualify.
This year the Baldwinsville Kiwanis will hold the 43rd running of the "turkeys,” an event that draws families and running enthusiasts from around the country as many return back to CNY to visit family and enjoy the holiday festivities.
Participation in the Kiwanis Turkey Day Race has grown dramatically over the past few years as many individuals and families embark on a new Thanksgiving tradition, adding the race to the traditional family, food and football activities.
If you would like to kick start your Thanksgiving day this year with a healthy 5K or 10K run, you should sign up for the Kiwanis event, which also offers a fun run for children.
