Oswego’s Dylan Lavner had 23 kills and 28 digs, while Kevin Carpentier had 37 assists, eight digs, nine blocks and nine kills.
Prior to that, CNS swept past the combined Syracuse city squad 25-19, 25-7, 25-17. Collins finished with 32 assists, feeding a front line where Brousseau led with 10 kills. Werksman had five kills and five aces, with Holmes also getting four kills. Josh Rodriguez had four kills as Andrew Bocyck and Nate Tyrell each put up three kills.
Liverpool’s boys volleyball team won a tight four-set match over Central Square. The Warriors won the opener 25-21 and lost the second set 25-21, but it pulled out tight 25-23 wins in both the third and fourth sets to prevail.
Dalton Horton finished with 20 assists, his passes going to John Milligan, who had 10 kills and nine digs, and Nate LeClair, who had six kills. Chris Valerino and Ben Zenkir each had two kills and three blocks as Joe Kenney added five digs. Pat Kenney had three blocks and three digs.
